Create and schedule a campaign

A campaign reviews selected access. You can create a draft for one run or save a reusable campaign with a schedule. You need permission to manage review campaigns. Changing the review policy also requires permission to manage review policies.

Create a draft

Open Admin > Governance > Campaigns and choose Create campaign. Give the campaign a name, select the access to review, and check the draft preview before launch. A due date on an individual campaign is an exact time. Launching starts review item creation; check the campaign's progress before assuming every item is ready.

Schedule a reusable campaign

Open a reusable campaign's Schedule tab and turn on Run on a schedule. Set Every, Unit, First run (local time), and Time zone. Choose When each occurrence fires:

  • Mint and launch automatically creates and launches the run.
  • Mint a draft and notify the campaign owner creates a draft and alerts the owner, who can inspect it before launch.

Check Estimated next run, then choose Save schedule. Each occurrence uses the campaign definition as it exists when that run is created. Editing the definition later does not change earlier runs.

The first run must be a real local time in the selected zone. If the time occurs twice when clocks move back, choose First occurrence or Second occurrence. The saved choice also applies to later repeated times. If a future clock change removes a scheduled local time, Owlie skips that occurrence. Monthly schedules return to their original day after a shorter month. For example, a schedule starting January 31 runs on February's last day and then March 31.

The time zone is saved with each run. Changing your profile time zone changes how times display for you; it does not move a saved campaign run. A due offset on a reusable campaign remains a number of elapsed 24-hour days from the time each run is created.

Turn off Run on a schedule and choose Save schedule to stop future scheduled runs. You can still create a draft manually.
